What's involved with telephone financial counseling sessions? I do ask a few things of you for these types of sessions. Please consider the following for the actual sessions: For the call, select a private place, with few distractions. Turn off all other telephones, cell phones, and pagers during the session. Close the door to the rest of the world, family, or office mates, so that you can focus upon the session at hand. Request that others do not disturb you during the length of your session. Put aside any materials or work projects that would distract you during this period. This does not include financial matters that we would be discussing. Call me promptly at the scheduled appointment time so that you get the full value of your prepaid fee. You will be calling me for these appointments.
